Blair’s seen better days

So, the media has been commenting how old Tony Blair looks, saying that the scandals surrounding his time in office have taken their toll.
I love how they’re all overlooking the fact that it’s been 10 fricking years. Of course he looks old!! You don’t live 10 years and see no change (unless you are Joan Rivers and have a key to your plastic surgeon’s house)!
For goodness sake.
(Hope you’re all “working hard” and watching BBC News 24 live…)

In the last 10 years my lovely kids have gone from crawling to going to senior school. Aged 10 years? I look like I’ve aged 100 years.
Now, poor Tony (c’mon give the guy some sympathy) has had to deal with an even bigger bunch of kids than I have. I would say that he has aged remarkably well. Maybe he just eats right?
I’m in the IoD watching it on TV
He has aged, but more so than someone the same age as he has over the same time frame due to the immense pressures of the role.
He looked very choked up at the end of PM Q’s. I may not agree with his politics, but he gets my admiration for doing the job for so long.
Its like the people who go ‘last time we saw you you were in a pram, haven’t you grown!’ - yes, 30 years does that to someone. I’ve gone off rolling news programs, they over analyse everything waiting for the next bit of breaking news. He’s stepping down, now the media are moving in for the kill.
Tell you who does look old and thats Maggie, but then she is getting on a bit
It’s weird, but the British Question Period (or something where everyone was like… will the crown acknoledge such and such a thing and then Tony Blair would stand up and say, “We acknowledge that”
was on Canadian TV last night and I was like… why? Do they show Canadian Question Period in the UK? Doubtful.
Anyway, my point is that I also noticed how much older Tony Blair looks. When I first moved to London (OMG, nine years ago), he was so young. Cherry was pregnant, his boy was caught drinking underage in Leicester Square. All was good. And rosy. And perfect. OK, I’m exagerating. But I’m heavily medicated right now.
GIVE ME A BREAK OK!
She’s on my celebrity death list this year actually.
Browno is just walking along the road around the corner from me. Weird.
Very weird :p
Thatcher’s been on my death list for the last 20 years. That woman will never die.
I don’t think he looks any older than he is!! Ok, so may be he looked young when he entered office, but he now looks 54!! Unsurprising that, for a 54 year old and all…
I don’t look any different from 10 years ago, oh wait hang on I had hair 10 years ago so I take that back.
Wish they had given him a leaving present to take with him.
Like Bush……….
Blair’s rubbish, as is Gordon Brown. Roll on David Cameron!
Incidentally, you’re thoroughly tagged.
