I have just got home from my Mum and Stepdad’s house in The Middle of Nowhere. I am shattered. Two and a quarter hours of driving, 128 miles, too many idiots with their lights on high because they forgot to put them down again with a car towards them, and one run over deer (no, it wasn’t me, it was three cars ahead and when I got there it was floundering in the road, still alive, and only served to upset me even more, yes it has been a shockingly miserable evening).
I will be back to blog tomorrow, if I can find the energy. The password will not be the usual one because I don’t want anyone from the Real World reading it, assuming I actually write what I have been thinking about the entire way home (so drop me a quick line for it).
I will leave you with a couple of pictures from the past 24 hours.
The garden and rear of the house
Fish in the pond
Bailey refuses to give me the ball
Bailey looking a bit more cute than crazy (for once)
*Incidentally, I bloody hate that song.

I hate seeing road kill and drivers who don’t dip lights. Yuck what a drive.
Mark.
That garden is fantastic!
Wonderful garden and setting… must have been a truly horrid journey to turn your mood so sour after being at this place
Love the dog! The house is lovely as well. what do they do with the fish in the winter? Do they die?
Great shots! The pool looks neat too. What camera do you use?
Sorry to hear about the bad drive and no so pleasant view(s).
Venting - no, they’re just goldfish so live in cold water. Sometimes the top of the pond freezes over, so all we do is smash it.
Frye - Yeah the pool is pretty cool. The camera is just a simple snapper (a Fuji Finepix)
Those are very pretty pictures: you do make that house look rather idyllic!
Awww cute doggie! (Makes mine look like a gerbil.)
