On the surface… I have finished fucking about with my blog theme tonight. Finally happy with it.

RR - I think your comments are very valid. The crap would just follow. I can’t change who I am or what I am living through at the moment. I just have to get on with it.

I think there are pros and cons to starting a new blog, but ultimately the content of your blog - whether it’s this one or another one.

Maybe the real heart of the matter is trying to find some more ways to deal with those things in your life that have been affecting you so badly (not that all of them are easy as just changing a few things in your life). Unless you do, I imagine they would end up your new place as well.

You’re a resilient and capable woman and you have people around you who want to support you so you’ve got a lot going for you. You just need to have a bit more faith in yourself sometimes. xx

I know it’s a bit simplistic but if you don’t like the tone of the blog now, why don’t you just try to change it? That way you get the “newness” that you want without losing the history of everything that’s happened to you over the last few months. Of course the decision is up to you and about what makes you happy xxxx

Which brings us back to the two questions: why does anyone write a blog, and why do people read blogs?

You are right - blogging is supposed to be a bit of fun, but it is amazing what a bit of ’serious real life’ will do to change things. Blue Soup blog has become a bit of a safety valve for you perhaps, and a break, or move to pastures new could be a positive change.

Your readers will certainly miss you if you go, and unless they catch up with you in another bloggy place (if you find one) will be wondering how you are getting on after your stressful time, and of course, where you finished in the 10k.
