Now they are DRILLING and HAMMERING upstairs. And the big lunch has just broken out of the boardroom and semi-drunken managers and other VIPs from days of old are spilling out and LAUGHING TOO LOUDLY for my ears to be able to bear.
Meh. Actually, meh really doesn’t cut the mustard. Look out for the small woman with blonde highlights who will be gracing the front covers of tomorrow’s newspapers for going on a mass murdering spree in an office building in Victoriaaaargh!

My tip: Switch yourmobile phone to vibrate, divert your land line to it (so you have some clue when it is ringing), turn your iPod on and work in peace!
or get an iPhone – then you can hear the phone ringing even with the volume at 11
It’s what I do.
I also find getting a regular supply of sharp items sent to work keeps everyone away from me, but then I feel like killing 90+% of the worlds population every day.
