Is it not dishwashers that live longer with Calgon? (My attention to adverts has dropped alot recently. I hope this isnt a sign of old age)

is this the detergent that is to remove the bloodstains created by murder of the boss?
You can get equivilent stuff to calgon for dishwashers, can’t remember what it’s called though. What I want to know is why can’t Vanish and Calgon create in drum jobbies so I can just lob an Ariel liquitab, a comfort liquitab, a Vanish thing and a Calgon thing into the machine and hit go? Both Vanish and Calgon require that you place them in the detergent draw, which then causes it to get mouldy if you don’t clean it regularly. I’ve resorted to using a 3 month cleaner which cleans the drawer at the same time as it works so there is no issue with that and vanish spray. Everything else goes in the drum.
