It’s 5.02pm.
I am at my desk at work.
With a glass of red wine.
My Account Manager has a beer.
There’s a trolley full of bottles of red and white wine at the other end of the office.
Some of our team did a pitch today and they came back buzzing. Let’s hope we get it - it looks like a great account that I would be interested in working on if they want AE support.
Lots of work, but they give us wine. And we are off to the pub to bid farewell to a colleague in a short while.
Ah we used to get beer on a Friday, trolley came round and dropped if off. Stopped now, cost cutting or something, I need to work for someone that’s not throwing money away.

Wow, sounds like a fun place to work (the fact that they actually let you relax like that at work)!
I wish they’d relax a bit more…. earlier Fridays, or something. We do BBQ on Friday afternoons, but it’s a if-you-want-to-participate-you-need-to-make-up-the-time thing, which is utter crap.

Wow i remember a certain place that i worked and after we closed there was wine, beer and even cocktail flowing for free. It became very dangerous since i wasnt getting home till 4 or 5 in the morning and then back at work for 8. eeek
