does anyone have a paddle?
8 May, 2008 by blue soup
Because I am, as they say, up shit creek without one. While things have been going rather well in particular areas of my life, as shared on here, there have been fuck ups so monumental that there really seems to be nowhere to to turn.
With one, external circumstances have led to other support being made aware.
With the other I am totally on my own. I can’t speak to anyone about it. I can’t ask The Mechanic for help because it’s more trouble than it’s worth; I don’t know my colleagues at work well enough to know in whom I can confide without judgment.
I’m tired of constantly leaping from one drama to the next. I feel so alone with this one. I might not be around for a while. There’s a lot to deal with.

If you need a random who ‘doesn’t exist’ just to vent at you’re welcome to give me a call, drop an email, etc. I tend not to be judgmental as, in many areas of life, it would be the pot calling the kettle black
*HUG*
Likewise, if you need to escape the office to blow off some steam, I’m only across the way (most of the time!)…
As the wise prophet Robert of Hoskins once said - it’s good to talk
Hope you sort through it. The tunnel might feel endless there is always light at the end, it might seems small but thats all down to perspective.
I’m sorry to read this. Here, as always.
*Hugs*
Still in the West End if you need that caffeine or alcohol one night after work. I’m pretty unshockable, a good listener and I work in your industry, so may be able to help on more things than you realise.
You have my number. I’m around most of the time.

If an old fan from Little City can help………….
Good luck duck x
Hope you’re ok. xo Email me if you want.
Thinking of you! Hope you are alright. You are always welcome to vent electronically to me.
An old saying, ‘It’s no good worrying it wont change anything.’ I have had periods of worrying and realise it isn’t until you stop and start taking action that you solve the problem or problems. Maybe talk to one of the above readers who are offering you their help.
I hope you stay in touch via blogging.
Cheers Mark x
no paddle? Be thankful that you’ve a canoe at least … what? no canoe? how tf are you going to get any canoodling done then?
okay, that’s the crap funnies out of the way (strangely appropriate having crap puns up shit creek)
Like everyone has said, shown in their comments. You’re never alone, and there is always someone who will listen, nod at all the right bits, give you a hug, and help in anyway they can. Problems shared are problems halved and all that.
I’ll add my name to the “willing to listen without prejudice” list… if it helps, I have donuts
lots of hugs

If you need/wish to vent I’m also on the ‘list’ can be reached via facebook. Also work in the West End so can travel most of anywhere in London (so long as I’m not grounded by the parentals *shrugs*).
There’s a pair of ears here if you need them.
take care
