kiss it better

31Jan09

I made it to Dorset.
They didn’t make too much fuss at Woking ticket office which half-pleased me (I didn’t need any extra crap by that point) and half-angered me (the woman on the phone had been so unhelpful and made such a song and dance of allowing me to collect my tickets sans bankcard and [...]

Last night I met up with an old friend who I haven’t seen in an age. We went to Zizzi’s in Charlotte Street and made the most of a two for one voucher offer that had been emailed through to us. From there, in excellent moods we headed to the Marquis of Granby pub and [...]

Last night my purse went walkabout. Don’t know if it is lost or stolen.
All cards now cancelled and don’t appear to have been used.
Now I have the nightmare of getting new ones – just two weeks before moving house.

If you, like me, are the kind of person that likes things that are a bit kooky but you’re skint, may I suggest that you avoid Paperchase like the plague at the moment. After Friday, if you like things that are a bit kooky, get your fabulous rear down there at once!

See previous post.
Yes, last night’s melancholy trip down memory lane was fuelled by the best part of a bottle of Merlot. Lovely drink; Not-so-lovely outcome. There’s a lot to be said for being tee-total (at least during the week) and I have made a piss poor job of it since Christmas. And to think, up [...]

Too busy to blog and annoyed because there was loads in the paper this morning that made me think “ah, I could blog about that… and that… and that…” etc.
Anyway,

Vs.

Over to you…

I’m slow off the mark again folks. I have been meaning to blog about this since I first saw it the other week, but other stuff just came up.
I am sure you’ve all caught the new Life is for Sharing ad campaign by T-Mobile so you’ll be familiar with their Liverpool Street Station dancing viral. [...]

So I hope the headline is sufficient to give advance warning that this will be a moany Monday morning post.
Well, another weekend down and I’m already wishing my life away, hoping that Friday will be upon me before I know it. Of course, it won’t. I still haven’t mastered the fine art of speeding up [...]

Editor, my housemate, moved out yesterday… taking a load of my stuff with her!!
I am fuming. I will be back later to write more, but The Mechanic is here so I can’t. We’re off to Ikea (brave on a Sunday) to replace the things that stealing little bitch took.
You know what makes it worse? She’s [...]
